🌿 Être digne de confiance aux yeux de Dieu 

❣️(Évangile de Jésus-Christ selon saint Luc 16,1-13.)❣️

RÉFLEXION

Jésus est clair sur le sujet : ☝️Dieu doit pouvoir avoir confiance en Ses serviteurs. Il doit pouvoir compter que celui qui travaille pour Lui sera entièrement dévoué à Son service, et non à celui de l’argent, considéré comme étant «la racine de tous les malheurs. » Car, dit saint Paul :« plusieurs l’ont trop cherché, c’est pourquoi ils se sont perdus loin de la foi. Ils ont beaucoup souffert, et c’est leur faute. (1 Timothée 6:10) Or, nous le savons :  « Dieu veut que tous les hommes soient sauvés et parviennent à la pleine connaissance de la vérité. » (1 Timothée 2:3-4) C’est pourquoi Il protège et veille doublement sur Ses fidèles serviteurs qui portent cette Vérité au monde entier. 

• 🦋 N’est-ce pas Ô Saint-Esprit?

Et Le Saint-Esprit répondit:

En effet petit coeur : « L’ange du Seigneur campe à l’entour pour libérer ceux qui le craignent.» (Psaume 34:8) Ce sont donc pour les plus vulnérables qu’il faut prier ~ magistrats, chefs d’État et tous ceux qui exercent l’autorité ! J’encourage fortement, non seulement afin que vous puissiez mener votre vie dans la tranquillité et le calme, en toute piété et dignité, mais parce que cette prière est bonne et agréable à Dieu votre Sauveur. (1 Timothée 2,8) Priez, demandez, intercédez, afin qu’ils ne tombent pas dans la tentation de vouloir s’enrichir dans une foule de désirs stupides et nuisibles qui plongent les hommes dans la ruine et provoquent leur perte. (1 Timothée 6:9) Mais qu’ils mettent leur espérance dans le Dieu vivant, qui donne tout avec abondance ! (1 Timothée 6:17) Ainsi, ils obtiendront la sagesse qui vaut bien mieux que l’or, et l’intelligence qui est préférable à l’argent. (Proverbes 16:16)

Being Trustworthy in the Eyes of God 

(Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 16:1-13)

Jesus is clear on the subject: ☝️ God must be able to trust His servants. He must be able to count on those who work for Him to be fully devoted to His service, and not to money, which is considered “the root of all evil.” For, as Saint Paul says: “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Timothy 6:10)

And we know: “God wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:3-4) That is why He protects and watches over His faithful servants who carry this Truth to the whole world.

• 🦋 Isn’t that right, O Holy Spirit?

And the Holy Spirit replied:

Indeed, little heart: “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them.” (Psalm 34:8) So, it is for the most vulnerable that you should pray — magistrates, heads of state, and all who exercise authority! I strongly encourage this, not only so you can live your life in tranquility and calm, in all piety and dignity, but also because this prayer is good and pleasing to God your Saviour. (1 Timothy 2:8) Pray, ask, intercede, so that they do not fall into the temptation of wanting to enrich themselves with a multitude of foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and cause their downfall, (1 Timothy 6:9) but let them put their hope in the living God, who gives everything abundantly! (1 Timothy 6:17)
Thus, they will gain wisdom that is worth more than gold, and understanding that is preferable to silver. (Proverbs 16:16)
