extraits du Livre de Daniel 7,9-10.13-14.

«Je voyais venir, avec les nuées du ciel, comme un Fils d’homme ;  Il lui fut donné domination, gloire et royauté ; tous les peuples, toutes les nations et les gens de toutes langues le servirent. Sa domination est une domination éternelle, qui ne passera pas, et sa royauté, une royauté qui ne sera pas détruite.»

Et de l’Évangile de Jésus-Christ selon saint Jean 1,47-51.

« Je te dis que je t’ai vu sous le figuier, et c’est pour cela que tu crois ! Tu verras des choses plus grandes encore : le ciel ouvert, et les anges de Dieu monter et descendre au-dessus du Fils de l’homme. »

 

 

RÉFLEXION/TÉMOIGNAGE 

• Voici Ô Saint-Esprit ce que j’ai compris de ces Lectures:

Qui suit et sert Jésus-Christ ~ Le Fils de l’homme ~ en pratiquant Ses Enseignements et en Le laissant tout contrôle, voit de grandes choses se passer dans sa vie et autour de lui. Il vit paisiblement, certain d’une chose : puisque son Seigneur est Roi et que Sa Royauté ne sera pas détruite, il est non seulement assuré d’être toujours en sécurité auprès de Lui, mais il vit rassuré et en paix en sachant que rien ni personne ne pourra détruire son bonheur, car, par Le Fils de l’homme, il est enfant de Dieu, et tout ce qu’il Lui demandera, cela lui sera accordé. *

• N’est-ce pas Ô Saint-Esprit ? Que dis-Tu ? Ais-je bien discerné ?

Et Le Saint-Esprit répondit :

En effet petit cœur, c’est tout ce qu’a dit votre Seigneur Jésus de Nazareth, Fils de l’homme : « si vous savez cela, vous êtes heureux, pourvu que vous le mettiez en pratique.* Et pareillement, amen, je vous le dis, si deux d’entre vous sur la terre se mettent d’accord pour demander quoi que ce soit, ils l’obtiendront de mon Père qui est aux cieux. En effet, quand deux ou trois sont réunis en mon nom, je suis là, au milieu d’eux. »*

À présent, à ton tour, en bon ange gardien des âmes que tu es, va rappeler tout cela à ceux qui l’ont oublié, afin que la foi revienne dans les cœurs. Et ne crains rien petit ange: je ferai le reste, je m’engage à les éclairer. Va ! Je suis avec toi.

READINGS FOR TODAY

Excerpts from the Book of Daniel 7:9-10, 13-14

“I watched as thrones were put in place, and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like pure wool. He sat on a throne that was flaming with fire, and its wheels were burning with fire. A river of fire was pouring out, flowing from his presence. Thousands of thousands of angels ministered to him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court began its session, and the books were opened. In my vision at night, I looked, and there before me was one like a Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient One and was led into his presence. He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all nations of the world, so that people of every race and language would obey him. His rule is eternal — it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.”

And from the

Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 1:47-51

“Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, ‘Here is a true Israelite; there is nothing false in him!’ ‘How do you know me?’ Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, ‘I saw you while you were under the fig tree before Philip called you.’ Then Nathanael exclaimed, ‘Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel!’ Jesus replied, ‘You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that!’ Then he added, ‘I tell you the truth, you will see all heaven open and the angels of God going up and down on the Son of Man — the one who is the stairway between heaven and earth.’”

REFLECTION/TESTIMONY 

• Here, O Holy Spirit, is what I have understood from these Readings:

Whoever follows and serves Jesus Christ ~ The Son of Man ~ by practicing His Teachings and surrendering all control to Him, sees great things happen in their life and around them. They live peacefully, certain of one thing: since their Lord is King and His Kingdom will not be destroyed, they are not only assured of always being safe with Him, but they also live reassured and at peace, knowing that nothing and no one can destroy their happiness. For through The Son of Man, they are children of God, and whatever they ask of Him, it will be granted to them.*

• Isn’t that so, O Holy Spirit? What do You say? Have I discerned correctly?

And the Holy Spirit replied:

Indeed, little heart, this is all that your Lord Jesus of Nazareth, The Son of Man, said: “If you know this, you are blessed, provided you put it into practice.* And likewise, amen, I tell you, if two of you on earth agree on anything they ask, it will be granted to them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, I am there among them.”*

Now, in your turn, as the good guardian angel of souls that you are, go remind everyone of this, so that faith may return to their hearts. And fear nothing, little angel: I will do the rest. I promise to enlighten them. Go! I am with you.
