Évangile de Jésus-Christ selon saint Luc 10,25-37.

En ce temps-là, voici qu’un docteur de la Loi se leva et mit Jésus à l’épreuve en disant : « Maître, que dois-je faire pour avoir en héritage la vie éternelle ? » Jésus lui demanda : « Dans la Loi, qu’y a-t-il d’écrit ? Et comment lis-tu ? » L’autre répondit : « Tu aimeras le Seigneur ton Dieu de tout ton cœur, de toute ton âme, de toute ta force et de toute ton intelligence, et ton prochain comme toi-même. » Jésus lui dit : « Tu as répondu correctement. Fais ainsi et tu vivras. » Mais lui, voulant se justifier, dit à Jésus : « Et qui est mon prochain ? » Jésus reprit la parole : « Un homme descendait de Jérusalem à Jéricho, et il tomba sur des bandits ; ceux-ci, après l’avoir dépouillé et roué de coups, s’en allèrent, le laissant à moitié mort. Par hasard, un prêtre descendait par ce chemin ; il le vit et passa de l’autre côté. De même un lévite arriva à cet endroit ; il le vit et passa de l’autre côté. Mais un Samaritain, qui était en route, arriva près de lui ; il le vit et fut saisi de compassion. Il s’approcha, et pansa ses blessures en y versant de l’huile et du vin ; puis il le chargea sur sa propre monture, le conduisit dans une auberge et prit soin de lui. Le lendemain, il sortit deux pièces d’argent, et les donna à l’aubergiste, en lui disant : “Prends soin de lui ; tout ce que tu auras dépensé en plus, je te le rendrai quand je repasserai.” Lequel des trois, à ton avis, a été le prochain de l’homme tombé aux mains des bandits ? » Le docteur de la Loi répondit : « Celui qui a fait preuve de pitié envers lui. » Jésus lui dit : « Va, et toi aussi, fais de même. »

RÉFLEXION

Peut-être pourrais-je résumer cet Évangile de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ en une seule parole  : j’aurai beau avoir toute la connaissance de Dieu — même être un docteur de la Loi — s’il me manque l’amour pour Dieu et pour mon prochain, je ne suis rien. Mais, comme l’Esprit-Saint me souffle à l’oreille, nous sommes d’abord et avant tout des êtres d’amour, créés pour l’amour par l’Être Suprême qui EST Amour, nous vivons donc avec une vérité et cette certitude que : « rien ne peut nous séparer de Son amour qui est dans le Christ Jésus notre Seigneur » (Romains 8:38-39), Lui qui est notre certitude et notre héritage de bonheur éternel dans l’Amour.

Oui, j’aurais pu m’arrêter là et conclure rapidement cette Réflexion, mais alors je manquerais à mon devoir envers mon prochain : celui qui ne sait pas combien il est aimé de Dieu, ni ce qu’il doit faire pour demeurer dans Son amour et recevoir la vie éternelle de bonheur avec Lui.

En effet, tous les hommes ne savent pas qu’au Ciel comme sur la Terre, il existe toute une armée d’âmes et d’esprits prêts à combattre l’Ennemi, qui n’a qu’un seul désir : priver l’Humanité de cet Amour et de cette Vie.

Tous ne savent pas que cette armée est conduite sur la Terre comme au Ciel par une petite bonne femme, notre Maman du Ciel, puisqu’elle est la Mère de Jésus, notre Christ, Lui qui l’a confiée à nous alors qu’Il mourait pour nous sur la Croix.

Tous ne savent pas que Marie l’a porté dans son sein après avoir été mystérieusement et mystiquement conçue du Saint-Esprit, Lui qui inspire et guide nos prières, qui prie en nous, qui a dit que « nous ne savons pas ce qu’il nous convient de demander dans nos prières. Mais l’Esprit lui-même intercède pour nous avec des soupirs inexprimables ; et celui qui sonde les cœurs connaît la pensée de l’Esprit, parce que c’est selon Dieu qu’il intercède en faveur des saints. » (Romains 8:26-27)

Dans l’Évangile du Jour, en passant par l’exemple du Samaritain, Jésus a voulu nous montrer concrètement comment nous pouvons venir en aide à notre prochain dans le besoin. Mais s’Il devait choisir aujourd’hui un exemple, ce seraient certainement les mystères enfouis dans une prière toute simple qui porte ses fruits en abondance, qu’Il aurait choisies. Plus précisément, la prière où Sa Mère est invoquée et vénérée, puisqu’avant d’être la Mère de Jésus et de l’Humanité, Elle est l’Épouse du Saint-Esprit. Pas beaucoup d’hommes savent cela.

Oui, je manquerai à mon devoir si je ne vous disais pas que Jésus aurait choisit la prière où Sa Mère qu’Il aimait de tout son coeur pour Son OUI à Dieu, est sollicitée pour la puissance de ses prières qui ont la faveur de Dieu, notre Père qui est aux Cieux.

Je te salue, Marie, pleine de Grâces…

• Que dis-Tu, Ô Saint-Esprit ?

Et le Saint-Esprit répondit :

En effet, petit cœur, Jésus Lui-même a dit qu’ « à celui qui a, il sera donné, et il sera dans l’abondance ; mais à celui qui n’a pas, on enlèvera même ce qu’il a. » (Matthieu 25:29)

Tu es bénie entre toutes les femmes…

• À toi Maman Marie, Dieu a donné des Grâces et des Faveurs d’amour en abondance parce qu’Il t’avait choisie entre toutes pour Son Projet de Salut, et savait que tu Lui dirais OUI!  Marie, au Ciel comme sur la Terre, tu n’es pas n’importe qui ! Tu as la faveur de Dieu, et tu es la gardienne de Ses enfants qui en toi se confient. Tu es l’amour du Coeur de Jésus ton enfant béni de Dieu. Tu es celle qui nous aide à méditer les mystères de la Vie de notre Seigneur et Sauveur, et qui nous aide à comprendre que la connaissance n’est rien sans l’acte d’amour par excellence qui nous lie à Dieu qui est Amour : LA PRIÈRE ! C’est pourquoi nous disons : Sainte Marie, Mère de Dieu, pries pour nous pauvres pécheurs maintenant et à l’heure de la mort. AMEN 🌹 

Prier, mes biens chères sœurs et chers frères, ce n’est pas une loi ni une connaissance de Dieu. Prier c’est faire l’Amour au Nom de Dieu ! Marie seule l’avait compris parce qu’elle était pleine de Grâces !

Et Le Saint-Esprit répondit : 

En effet, vous n’êtes plus sujets de la Loi, vous êtes sujets de la grâce de Dieu.

Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 10:25-37.

At that time, a lawyer stood up and put Jesus to the test, saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus asked him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” He replied, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” Jesus said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.” But wanting to justify himself, he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbour?” Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell into the hands of robbers, who stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him half-dead. Now by chance, a priest was going down that road; when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise, a Levite also came to that place; when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came upon him; and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them; then he put him on his own donkey, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. The next day, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ Which of these three, in your opinion, was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?” The lawyer responded, “The one who showed him mercy.” Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

REFLECTION

Perhaps we can summarize this Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in one word: no matter how much knowledge of God we possess—and even if we are doctors of the Law—if we lack love for God and our neighbour, we are nothing. But the Holy Spirit whispers to my heart that we are beings of love above all else, created for love by the Supreme Being who IS Love, so, we live in a truth and with a certainty: “nothing can separate us from His love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39). He is our certainty and our inheritance of eternal happiness in Love.

Yes, I could stop there and quickly conclude the reflection, but then I would neglect my duty toward my neighbour—the one who does not know how much he is loved by God and what he must do to remain in His love and receive eternal happiness with Him.

Indeed, not all men know that in Heaven, as on Earth, there is an entire army of souls and spirits ready to fight the Enemy, who only desires to deprive humanity of this Love and Life.

Not everyone knows that this army is led on Earth and in Heaven by a little good woman—none other than our Mother of Heaven—because she is the Mother of Jesus, our Christ. It is He who entrusted her to us as He was dying for us on the Cross.

Not all men realize that Mary bore Him in her womb after being mysteriously and spiritually conceived by the Holy Spirit, Who inspires and guides our prayers, for “we do not know what we ought to pray for; but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because it is according to God that he intercedes for the saints.” (Romans 8:26-27)

In today’s Gospel, Jesus used the example of the Samaritan passing by to illustrate how we can help our neighbour in need. But if He were to choose an example today, it would surely be the mysteries hidden within a simple prayer that bears fruit—more specifically, the prayer in which His Mother is invoked and venerated. Because, He above all else, knows that before being His Mother, Mary is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, and that as such, her prayers have the favour of God, His Father in Heaven.

Yes, Jesus would have chosen the prayer where His Mother is called upon for her powerful intercession.

I hail you, Mary, full of Grace…

• What do You say, O Holy Spirit?

And the Holy Spirit replied:

Indeed, little heart, Jesus Himself said, “To everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” (Matthew 25:29)

Blessed are you among women…

• To you, Mother Marie, God has given abundant Graces and Favors of love because He chose you above all others for His Plan of Salvation, and He knew you would say YES to Him! Marie, in Heaven as on Earth, you are not just anyone! You have God’s favour, and you are the guardian of His children who confide in  you. You are the love of the Heart of Jesus, your child blessed by God. You are the one who helps us meditate on the mysteries of the Life of our Lord and Saviour, and who helps us understand that knowledge is nothing without the act of love par excellence that binds us to God Who is Love : PRAYER! That is why we say: Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us poor sinners now and at the hour of death. AMEN 🌹

Pray, my dear sisters and brothers,  as prayer is not a law or a knowledge of God. Prayer is making Love in the Name of God! Only Mary, full of Grace, understood this!

And the Holy Spirit replied : 

Sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

(Romans 6:14)
