Solennité de l’Immaculée Conception de la Vierge Marie
Évangile de Jésus-Christ selon saint Luc 1,26-38.
En ce temps-là, l’ange Gabriel fut envoyé par Dieu dans une ville de Galilée, appelée Nazareth,
à une jeune fille vierge, accordée en mariage à un homme de la maison de David, appelé Joseph ; et le nom de la jeune fille était Marie.
L’ange entra chez elle et dit : « Je te salue, Comblée-de-grâce, le Seigneur est avec toi. »
À cette parole, elle fut toute bouleversée, et elle se demandait ce que pouvait signifier cette salutation.
L’ange lui dit alors : « Sois sans crainte, Marie, car tu as trouvé grâce auprès de Dieu. Voici que tu vas concevoir et enfanter un fils ; tu lui donneras le nom de Jésus. Il sera grand, il sera appelé Fils du Très-Haut ; le Seigneur Dieu lui donnera le trône de David son père ; il régnera pour toujours sur la maison de Jacob, et son règne n’aura pas de fin. »
Marie dit à l’ange : « Comment cela va-t-il se faire puisque je ne connais pas d’homme ? »
L’ange lui répondit : « L’Esprit Saint viendra sur toi, et la puissance du Très-Haut te prendra sous son ombre ; c’est pourquoi celui qui va naître sera saint, il sera appelé Fils de Dieu.
Or voici que, dans sa vieillesse, Élisabeth, ta parente, a conçu, elle aussi, un fils et en est à son sixième mois, alors qu’on l’appelait la femme stérile.
Car rien n’est impossible à Dieu. »
Marie dit alors : « Voici la servante du Seigneur ; que tout m’advienne selon ta parole. » Alors l’ange la quitta.
RÉFLEXION
« À cette parole, elle (Marie) fut toute bouleversée, et elle se demandait ce que pouvait signifier cette salutation.»
Je me sens attirée ce matin à réfléchir un moment sur la manière dont notre Mère des Cieux a accueilli la salutation de l’ange Gabriel, c’est à dire
‘avec bouleversement et étonnement’ !
Ô Saint-Esprit viens moi en aide car ce choix vient de Toi, Toi qui diriges et éclaires mes pensées…
Et Le Saint-Esprit répondit :
En effet petit coeur, Le Seigneur, l’Éternel, ne fait rien sans avoir révélé son secret à ses serviteurs les prophètes, et ceux qui Le cherchent avec simplicité de cœur et de tout leur coeur, sont reconfortés, encouragés, libérés, par les Messages qu’ils portent avec eux.
Poursuivons donc donc ta réflexion maintenant que Je suis là. Une question que j’aimerai que tu te poses : Comment aurais-tu réagi à la visite de Gabriel à une telle salutation ?
Certainement comme Marie mon Seigneur… avec bouleversement et étonnement, si je ne savais pas ce que je sais aujourd’hui.
Et que sais-tu aujourd’hui petit coeur?
Que je suis comblée de Grâces car Dieu a bien voulu un Jour béni et dans Son grand Amour, avec Jésus dans Sa Miséricorde, Se pencher sur Toi, me prendre dans Ses bras, comme pour concevoir de nouveau, que je naisse de nouveau ! Depuis, Toi, Son Esprit, Tu m’accompagnes sur mon chemin de vie, de sorte que je n’ai plus de soucis à me faire, ni de crainte à avoir car, comme ma Mère des Cieux, j’ai trouvé Grâce à Ses yeux. Et tout cela Grâce à Jésus qui a été mon Avocat auprès de Lui.
Et Le Saint-Esprit répondit:
En effet, tous ceux qui se laissent conduire par l’Esprit de Dieu, ceux-là sont fils de Dieu. Si Dieu t’a libérée de l’esclavage et de la dégradation, c’est pour connaître la liberté de la gloire donnée aux enfants de Dieu. Tu es héritière de Dieu, avec le Christ ~ ce qui te donnes le droit d’être Son Ministre dans les assemblées, c’est à dire d’écouter, de confesser, de baptiser, de bénir, d’encourager, de prêcher La Bonne Nouvelle comme tu l’as reçue du Sauveur Jésus Lui-même durant ces 25 dernières années qui ont passées.
Je t’encourage à exercer ton ministère avec la passion que l’on te connait et que Dieu t’a donnée pour faire tout cela, d’autant plus que tu vois s’approcher le jour.* (Tite 8)
Poursuis donc ta vocation avec brio sans crainte d’être reprochée, petit cœur. Car personne, (sauf le fils qui a choisi le chemin de la perdition et ceux qui le suivent de leur plein gré sans avoir vu les faits), n’osera te reprocher puisque Dieu Lui-même t’a bénie et comblée des bénédictions de l’Esprit, au ciel, dans le Christ. Il t’a choisie, dans le Christ, avant la fondation du monde, pour que tu sois sainte, immaculée devant lui, dans l’amour. Il t’a prédestinée à être, pour lui, sa fille adoptive par Jésus, le Christ. Ainsi Il l’a voulu dans sa bonté…
Va, car je suis avec toi.

Here’s the English translation of this Reflection on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary
Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 1:26-38.
At that time, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee called Nazareth, to a young girl who was a virgin, engaged to a man of the house of David named Joseph; and the young girl’s name was Mary.
The angel entered her home and said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.”
At this, she was greatly troubled and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.
The angel then said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you shall call His name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”
Mary asked the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?”
The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore, the child to be born will be holy, and He will be called the Son of God.
And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren. For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Then Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
REFLECTION
“Upon hearing this, she (Mary) was greatly troubled, and she wondered what kind of greeting this might be.”
This morning, I feel drawn to reflect for a moment on how Our Mother of Heaven received the greeting from the angel Gabriel — with astonishment and wonder!
O Holy Spirit, come to my aid, for this choice comes from You, You who guide and enlighten my thoughts…
And the Holy Spirit replied:
Indeed, little heart, the Lord, the Eternal, does nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets,* and those who seek Him with simplicity of heart and with all their hearts, are comforted, encouraged, and liberated by the Messages they carry within them.
Let us continue your reflection now that I am here. A question I want you to ask yourself: How would you have reacted to Gabriel’s visit and such a greeting?
Certainly I would react like Mary, my Lord… with astonishment and wonder, if I did not know what I know today.
And what do you know today, little heart?
That I am blessed with Grace because The Father, in His goodness and The Son in His mercy, bent down to look upon you, and The Father took me into His arms, as to conceive me in Spirit, that I may be reborn! Since then, You, His Spirit, has been guiding me on my journey of life, so I no longer need to worry or fear because, like my Mother of Heaven, I have found Grace in His eyes. And all of this through Jesus, who has been my Advocate before Him.
And the Holy Spirit responded:
Indeed, all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. If God has freed you from slavery and degradation, it is to know the freedom of the glory given to the children of God. You are an heir of God, with Christ — which gives you the right to serve as His Minister in the assemblies, meaning to listen, confess, baptize, bless, encourage, and preach the Good News as you have received it from the Savior Jesus Himself over these past 25 years. I encourage you to carry out your ministry with the passion that you know and that God has given you to do all this, especially as the day approaches. *
So, pursue your calling with brilliance without fear of being reproached, little heart. Because no one (except the son who chose the path of perdition and those who follow him willingly without having seen the facts) will dare to reproach you since God Himself has blessed and filled you with the blessings of the Spirit, in heaven, in Christ.
He chose you, in Christ, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless before Him in love. He predestined you to be His daughter through Jesus, the Christ. This is His gracious plan.
