Évangile de Jésus-Christ selon saint Luc 18,1-8.

En ce temps-là, Jésus disait à ses disciples une parabole sur la nécessité pour eux de toujours prier sans se décourager :
« Il y avait dans une ville un juge qui ne craignait pas Dieu et ne respectait pas les hommes. Dans cette même ville, il y avait une veuve qui venait lui demander : “Rends-moi justice contre mon adversaire.” Longtemps il refusa ; puis il se dit : “Même si je ne crains pas Dieu et ne respecte personne, comme cette veuve commence à m’ennuyer, je vais lui rendre justice pour qu’elle ne vienne plus sans cesse m’assommer.” »
Le Seigneur ajouta : « Écoutez bien ce que dit ce juge dépourvu de justice ! Et Dieu ne ferait pas justice à ses élus, qui crient vers lui jour et nuit? Les fait-il attendre ? Je vous le déclare : bien vite, il leur fera justice. Cependant, le Fils de l’homme, quand il viendra, trouvera-t-il la foi sur la terre ? »

RÉFLEXION

🌹« la nécessité pour les disciples de Jésus-Christ de toujours prier sans se décourager.»🌹

Les disciples de Jésus-Christ sont les “élus” de Dieu. C’est pourquoi ils doivent “prier sans se décourager” ~ crier vers Lui jour et nuit, car, sans les faire attendre : “bien vite, Il leur fera justice.” 

“Prier”,  de même que “proclamer la Parole de Dieu”, sont les deux principales missions du disciple de Jésus-Christ ! S’ajoutent à elles, ces autres oeuvres selon l’Esprit de Vérité qui a inspiré Paul, l’Apôtre de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ : « intervenir à temps et à contretemps, dénoncer le mal, faire des reproches, encourager, toujours avec patience et souci d’instruire, car toute l’Écriture est inspirée par Dieu ; elle est utile pour enseigner, dénoncer le mal, redresser, éduquer dans la justice ; grâce à elle, l’homme de Dieu sera accompli, équipé pour faire toute sorte de bien. » (2 Timothée 3,14-17.4,1-2).

• N’est-ce pas Ô Saint-Esprit ? Y a-t-il autre chose que Tu voudrais ajouter à cette liste d’œuvres et de missions ?

Et Le Saint-Esprit répondit :

Accomplir tout cela sans irritation ou colère, car, comme je l’ai soufflé à Jacques, disciple de Jésus-Christ : « la colère de l’homme n’accomplit pas la justice de Dieu.» (Jc 1:20) 

• Amen 🙏 Merci Ô Saint-Esprit ! Cependant, il existe des “passionnés de La Parole de Dieu” ! Quand ils proclament, enseignent, parlent de Dieu, ils peuvent donner l’impression d’être en colère …

Et Le Saint-Esprit répondit :

Je sais petit coeur ! Je sais … Dieu apprécie celui qui oeuvre pour Lui avec passion et fougue, sans avoir une trop haute opinion de lui-même, mais en gardant des sentiments modestes, selon la mesure de foi que Dieu lui a donnée. Car en effet, c’est par la grâce que vous êtes  sauvés, par le moyen de la foi. Et cela ne vient pas de vous, c’est le don de Dieu ~ comme je l’ai mentionné à Paul, l’Apôtre du Christ – (Romains 12:3 * Éphésiens 2:8) 

Certes, il y a des âmes qui ont besoin d’êtres secouées, réveillées, de sortir de leur sommeil, car quand Le Fils de l’Homme viendra, Il doit trouver la foi sur la Terre. C’est pourquoi Dieu a aussi élu les disciples passionnés !  Es-tu rassurée petit cœur ❤️ ?

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

REFLECTION

🌹 “The necessity for Jesus Christ’s disciples to always pray without becoming discouraged.” 🌹

The disciples of Jesus Christ are God’s “chosen ones.” That’s why they must “pray without becoming discouraged” — cry out to Him day and night, because, without making Him wait: “He will quickly bring justice for them.”

“Praying,” just like “proclaiming the Word of God,” are the two main missions of a disciple of Jesus Christ! Along with these, there are other works according to the Spirit of Truth who inspired Paul, the Apostle of our Lord Jesus Christ: “to be timely and untimely, to rebuke, to correct, to encourage, always with patience and a desire to instruct, because all Scripture is inspired by God; it is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:14-17; 4:1-2).

• Isn’t that right, O Holy Spirit? Is there anything else You would like to add to this list of works and missions?

And the Holy Spirit replied:

Perform all this without irritation or anger, because, as I whispered to James, disciple of Jesus Christ: “the anger of man does not accomplish the righteousness of God.” (James 1:20)

• Amen 🙏 Thank you, O Holy Spirit! However, there are “passionate lovers of the Word of God”! When they proclaim and explain, when they speak, they can give the impression of being angry…

And the Holy Spirit replied:

I know, little heart! I know… God appreciates those who work for Him with passion and fervour, because there are souls that need to be shaken, awakened, to come out of their sleep, cause when the Son of man comes,  he must find faith on the earth ! That’s why He has also chosen passionate disciples, as long as they work, “without having a high opinion of themselves, but with modest feelings, according to the measure of faith God has given them. For by grace you are saved through faith. And it is not from yourselves; it is the gift of God”, as I mentioned to Paul The Apostle of Christ in(Romans 12:3; Ephesians 2:8) Are you reassured, little heart? ❤️
