it happened on Easter morning

Matthieu 28

Easter day is always a sad day for me… On that day, I cannot rejoice as most of my brothers and sisters do… and I tend to stay on my own… Some know why, some don’t … and its OK.

But today… I would like, with permission obtained, share with you an Easter Testimony I received yesterday from a dear friend. It’s in fact her testimony:

“Good morning dear friends and happy Easter. There’s still hope and kindness in this world. This morning my son Vikash and I went walking. On way back a bread van stopped to let us cross the road. We thanked him and I whiffed in the good smell of the bread. Would you believe he offered us two ‘pain maison’? We said we had no money on us and he still gave with sac plastic tout!”

Overwhelmed, and feeling suddenly very blessed, the reply I gave to my friend was spontaneous:

“Thank you my dear, thank you so much because, up to now, until your sms arrived, I was still on the cross, dying slowly but surely, whilst my own brothers and sisters were rejoicing, eating my flesh and drinking my blood, celebrating my Resurrection ! So thank you my daughter… I can die now… in peace. Your story gives me hope that my death will have real meaning to some people. Thank you dear.”

I guess my friend was moved by these Words that suddenly had poured out of the saddest of hearts, because she came back saying: “There’s so much more to be done!”  And once again, the Reply was swift : “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.” To this, my friend did not reply… only said : “let’s shower blessings upon that unknown person” !

Nevertheless knowing her, she did pray, she did ask… and knowing Him – the Lord and Master of compassion – her prayer was blessed…

Here I am today, totally reconciled, with a special joy and a wish in my heart for you who remain my sister, my brother, on Easter : May the Light which came out of The Tomb on This Unique Day in the History of Mankind, inspire you, protect you, guide you, and bless you.

Dear brothers and sisters, yesterday on Easter Day, The Lord Jesus Christ revealed Himself in a total stranger – un marchand de pain! It was His choice to give His Body to two souls who were not expecting Him, nor claiming His Resurrection.

(Luc 4, 24)

iTu as raison Seigneur, AMEN ! Merci car aujourd’hui je peux m’exclamer avec Toi: ALLELUIA CHRIST EST RESSUSCITE, IL EST VIVANT, IL VIT EN MOI, IL PARLE A TRAVERS MOI. AMEN ALLELUIA.

Amen + Tu as tout compris !
